Tanya Nathan has served on multiple federal Democratic political campaigns in her home state of Colorado over the last 10 years. These races have included Joe Miklosi for Congress 2012 in the highly competitive Congressional District 6, and Senator Mark Udall’s reelection campaign in 2014 as the Regional Organizing Director of the Western Slope. In the fall of 2015, Tanya joined Hillary for America during the primary as the State Field Lead and Delegate Director, and transitioned to the Colorado Training Director during the general election. During the 2020 Demoractic Primary, Tanya served as Tom Steyer’s Colorado State Director. During her time at Hilltop, Tanya as consulted on the 2020 tobacco tax increase statewide ballot measure, and on the historic Colorado Option healthcare bill that was signed into law in 2021.
Between races, Tanya gained experience locally and nationally outside of the political realm including time with The Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, The Biennial of the Americas, and JEWISHcolorado. Tanya has spent time with the National Democratic Training Committee training local candidates, campaign staff, and party leaders in Idaho, Missouri, and Montana, and is a fellow in the Anti Defamation League’s Glass Leadership Institute leadership development program.
