Sandra Jauregui represents Assembly District 41 in the Nevada state Assembly.
After growing up in Hacienda Heights, California, Sandra moved to Las Vegas in 2009 to attend the University of Nevada. Prior to her election, Sandra worked for former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and as program director of the Nevada Attorney General’s housing program. She is also a survivor of the 1 October mass shooting in Las Vegas in 2017.
During her tenure at the legislature Sandra has championed issues like affordable housing, gun violence prevention and enshrining marriage equality in the state constitution. Her commitment to community involvement continues to drive Sandra’s work in the state legislature.
