Eddie Sherman serves as Of Counsel to Hilltop and select Hilltop clients.

Eddie, a member of the Navajo and Omaha Nations, is a nationally recognized fundraiser, strategist, nonprofit leader, and entrepreneur.  Throughout his career, he has committed his efforts to social justice, serving underserved communities, and improving the quality of life for Native Americans and communities of color.

Before joining Hilltop Public Solutions, Eddie founded Against the Current Consulting and held key leadership positions with the Oregon Native American Chamber (ONAC), Our Native American Business & Entrepreneurial Network (ONABEN), and the National Indian Child Welfare Association (NICWA). He has had the honor of being appointed to the Portland Human Rights Commission and nationally selected to participate in the American Leadership Forum – Oregon, 2010 German Marshall Memorial Fellowship, the AIO American Indian Ambassadors’ Program, and the El Pomar Foundation Fellowship.

As a partner in the Oregon office, Eddie brings invaluable experience to Hilltop’s campaign, issue advocacy, and communications practices and will guide our continued efforts to help important Oregon constituencies organize and maximize their influence on politics and policy. He completed his B.A. in International Political Economy at Colorado College.
