Aaron Kaufman brings a wealth of experience with community outreach and public affairs programs to the Hilltop team. Aaron has been involved with Hilltop’s energy and infrastructure practice since 2019.

Prior to joining Hilltop, Aaron worked for the New York City Department of Social Services, as a member of the Mayor’s Public Engagement Unit, an innovative City initiative that proactively engages New Yorkers and provides them with individualized assistance for access to key City services. Aaron has also worked for the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, and for the Wildlife Conservation Society.

Born and raised in New York City, Aaron has a B.A. in Environmental Studies from The University of California, Santa Cruz, where he co-chaired The Education for Sustainable Living Program, a student organization that facilitated the only accredited student-led class in the UC system.
