Bethany Morris brings seven years of communications experience to Hilltop. During her political career, she has worked for the Colorado House Democrats in both a communications and outreach capacity. In her roles for the legislature, she worked to expand the capabilities of both the digital and outreach departments.
At the legislature, she created innovative social media content, including several videos, wrote op-eds that were placed in many prominent newspapers, and secured multiple earned media opportunities. She also managed the 50+ person aide corps and strategized community outreach efforts for the Colorado House Democrats, which included partnerships with the Senate Democrats and Office of the Governor to organize vaccine clinics for underserved communities.
She was also the Digital Director for the House Majority Project and worked to campaign for over a dozen Democratic candidates leading up to the 2020 elections. In her role, she created paid media campaigns, designed and wrote copy for campaign advertisements, created communication plans, and managed the House Majority Project’s digital presence.
Bethany received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder. In her spare time, she enjoys Krav Maga, archery, and a good book.
