Kelly Nordini is a Partner at Hilltop Public Solutions in Colorado. Kelly has been on the forefront of Colorado politics for over two decades and the Denver Post has called her a talent of “exceptional ability.” Kelly brings a wealth of experience in political management, public policy and campaign strategy to the Colorado team. Most recently, Kelly worked as the President of KCN Strategies, a public affairs consulting firm specializing in managing complex advocacy campaigns and advising foundations and donors.
- Kelly worked as the Chief Program Officer for Western Conservation Foundation from 2010 to 2011. In that capacity, Kelly oversaw millions of dollars in grants to dozens of grantees throughout the West.
- From 2007 to 2010, Kelly was Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Bill Ritter. Kelly led negotiations of key policy priorities for the governor such as increasing the renewable energy standard, the Clean Air-Clean Jobs energy legislation and a severance tax initiative. She managed key constituency relations including the Democratic Governors Association, labor and donors.
- Kelly worked as Chief of Staff to Colorado State House Speaker Andrew Romanoff from 2004-2007. In that position, Kelly oversaw the legislative agenda, strategy and message for the first Democratic Majority in nearly 30 years.
- Nordini has extensive campaign experience and has been instrumental in many of the state’s high-profile issue campaigns, including FasTracks, Referendum C, and many other ballot initiative and candidate campaigns.
Nordini is a graduate of Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA and lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband and two daughters.
