In 2013, at the age of 18, Jesse was elected to the Lewiston City Council, becoming the youngest elected official in the state of Idaho.
While serving on city council Jesse successfully managed several campaigns including city council, state legislature and passing the first school bond in Lewiston in over 90 years by 75%. He also oversaw the only legislative gain for Idaho Democrats in 2014.
Jesse is active around the state serving as the Chair of Serve Idaho: The Governor’s Commission on Service and Volunteerism, and is the 2nd Vice Chair of the Idaho Democratic Party.
Jesse thoroughly enjoys traveling, making mediocre jokes and winning any game of trivia he finds.
He graduated from Lewis-Clark State College in 2017 with a B.A. in Business & Communications and a minor in Political Science.
