Caitlin specializes in strategic communications, fundraising, and organizing grassroots and grasstops campaigns. She holds an M.A. in journalism from the University of Montana and brings five years of experience as a reporter and magazine writer, including a stint with The Idaho Statesman and freelancing for the Boise Weekly.
She has helped local, statewide, regional and national nonprofit organizations achieve their fundraising goals and grow their visibility through creative earned and paid media strategies.
In 2011, at age 28, Caitlin unseated an incumbent to win election to the Missoula City Council, where she spearheaded efforts to build a citywide fiber optic network during her three years of service, including one as Vice President.
Caitlin volunteers on the national Victory Fund & Institute Campaign Board, Rotary, and The College of Idaho Alumni Association. She loves spending time in the great outdoors of Montana and Idaho, especially golfing, skiing, stand-up paddleboarding, and shooting her .357.
