Sharon I. White
Principal A principal at Hilltop, Sharon is involved in grasstops
projects and political campaigns at the firm. Sharon also has
experience in preparing specialty media plans and writing and
producing urban and Spanish-language radio ads for statewide, state
legislative and local campaigns. A fluent Spanish speaker, Sharon
has played key political and communications roles on high-level
campaigns in Latin America.

Experience:
- Direct grasstops campaigns as well as managed coalitions on
behalf of clients, meeting corporate goals and objectives.
- Served in the emerging markets and Latino business outreach
practice at the Dewey Square Group. Sharon assisted in creating
and maintaining relationships between corporate clients and
members of the Latino community including federal and local
elected officials and prominent advocacy officials.
- Presidential Campaigns: Florida Political Director,
Kerry-Edwards 2004; Southern Political Director, John Edwards
for President 2004; and 2000 Gore-Lieberman
- International Experience: 2008 Bolivian Presidential
Referendum, 2006 Nicaraguan Presidential Campaign, 2000 Mexican
Presidential Campaign, 1996-2000 Represented the National
Democratic Institute for International Affairs in Latin America
and the Caribbean
Sharon graduated from Towson University with a bachelor’s degree
in International Studies and Political Science. Born in Washington
D.C., Sharon also spends time with her family in Panama as well as
extensive travel in Latin America.
